The Philipbars: Weekend with Memaw and Tickie tie

Well I am almost 29 weeks along (on thurs), but Here is a pic of what 28 weeks looks like. My shirt basically blends into the closet doors I just noticed haha so maybe not a great pic. But I feel great, and I am just getting more and more excited to have a newborn again!!! In just about 10 weeks we will get to meet our new baby girl, and we cant wait!!! We are also still deciding on a name, but feel like maybe we are getting closer...maybe :}

This past weekend was so much fun! Friday evening after David and I both got "off" work (weird to be included in that) we drove up to his parents house to spend the night. David helped his dad move in the weights and other equipment he had just purchased, and then we ate and played and had a relaxing evening. Eliza went to bed late at about 10:30, and then we didnt get to bed until almost 2, but I figured with the busy day we'd had Eliza would definitely sleep in...NOT! She woke up wide awake at 6:00AM...ugh. But thats ok because that meant that we were up and ready to leave by 9:30. David and I anyways. Eliza had a "Memaw and Tickie tie day". We were able to go out by ourselves allll day, which hasn't happened probably since Eliza was born! Of course I missed her about 5 mins down the road, but I knew she was having way more fun with memaw and tickie tie, and it was so nice to have time alone together. We were able to go the the movies, which I haven't done in Months. I felt like a kid in the theater for the first time....seriously. I know it sounds a little extreme but I was really excited. haha. We saw the Help, which was such an awesome movie. I was in tears halfway through. Poor David was one of only about 4 men in the whole theater....and he was definitely the youngest by about 20 years for the most part. What a good husband. He did like it, but it was definitely more my kind of movie. We went to the mall, and we went out to eat. And it was so weird to not have a little toddler to keep occupied. I mean dinner was so nice and peaceful, it was ridiculous!! Davids parents both sent us picture messages throughout the day to keep us updated on what our lil angel was up to. I wish I had those on my computer because they are priceless!! But she definitely had the best day, and she DEFINITELY was super spoiled!!! Her day involved lots of outside time with the puppy and kitties, swimming with Memaw, ice cream, shopping, dancing, and pretty much whatever she wanted them to do haha. We met them that evening to pick her up, and she didn't want to leave them...it broke my heart a little, but I am so glad to know that she loves her memaw and tickie tie so much and that they take such good care of her! She had on a cute new outfit, and memaw had curled her hair!!! The whole way home I kept looking back at her and just smiling the biggest smile because that curly hair was probably the cutest thing ever!!!
