Teething woes, and other updates

Our baby is growing up!!! I act like i'm surprised about this...but its only because I am surprised...at how FAST! Everyone warns you this will happen, but you really just have to see it to believe it. She really is, and to prove it....she is getting teeth!!! It looks like two little adorable teeth willl be popping up any day now!! You can see the tip of one just below the surface of her gums, and the one next to it you can just see the white bump in front. We have been anticipating this for a few weeks now due to the intense amounts of drool and biting everything, but this weekend is when it all came to life. She started running a really low grade fever on Saturday night, and was just really fussy, and that continued through Sunday. She slept really good that night and woke up fine on Monday, and thats when those little things started making thier appearance. We cannot wait til its over with! Not only for the pain and the fussiness to end but also because its going to be ridiculously cute!!

She is also in serious need of a highchair....bye bye bumbo, you've served us well. Her chubby lil legs (that we love) just wont have it anymore. But she is continuing to enjoy baby food.She isi a total pro with the spoon. Yet another piece of evidence to show how big she is getting. She really loves carrots and peas. We tried sweet potatoes but they don't seem to sit well, so next we will try green beans, my personal favorite=)

The thing that really makes me feel my baby is growing up is the fact that she can almost sit up by herself. It just seems that that makes her so much more independent...bitter sweet for sure=) That sure does seem to be my saying these days...
